
Eric Sutton
Eric Sutton joined Thayer | Hidden Creek as an analyst in 2008. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Sutton was an Associate in the Business Advisory Services group at Morgan Stanley. In his role, Mr. Sutton worked closely with the owners of small and medium-sized, privately owned companies to structure, finance and execute specialized leveraged buyout transactions that met the business succession objectives of the selling shareholders. Given the nature of the services provided, he also has experience with the utilization of ESOPs as a tax-efficient vehicle in the transaction structure of a leveraged buyout.
Mr. Sutton has a Master of Business Administration from the Kogod School of Business at American University and earned induction into the school’s chapter of Beta Gamma Sigma. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a concentration in Technology Management from Georgetown University and was a four-year letterman on the varsity baseball team.
