The Firm is led by Managing Partners Dan Dickinson, Doug McCormick and Scott Rued. While the Partners have led and guided the company together since 2003, they have a long history of successful working relationships with one another prior to working as a team at Thayer | Hidden Creek. All three Partners share a common vision and mission as well as a common perspective on critical success factors which results in a strong, cohesive culture of success at the firm.
Joining the Managing Partners is Fred Malek, Founder and Chairman of Thayer Capital Partners. Mr. Malek provides senior level guidance and advice to the Thayer | Hidden Creek team. The Firm also employs three full time Operating Partners, Ike Evans, Jim Forese and Dick Snell, all of whom have distinguished records as senior corporate executives. The three Operating Partners have an average of over 36 years of operational leadership in major industrial companies such as Union Pacific, IKON Office Solutions, General Motors, IBM, Tenneco Automotive and Emerson Electric.
Four Managing Directors, with a solid history of success, support the Partners. All of the Managing Directors have held operating leadership positions, have LBO experience, and have substantial industrial sector knowledge. The team is rounded out with an impressive Associate staff and is supported by a professional Finance and Administrative team.
With almost 300 years of combined experience managing and investing in industrial products and services companies, and with nine of the eleven senior investment professionals having been CEO, President or CFO in this sector during their careers, Thayer | Hidden Creek's investment professionals are clearly distinguished from other buyout firms in the lower end of the middle market.
